Michael Chen, CPA

Mr. Chen brings over 13 years of accounting and auditing expertise to his

clients, with a specialized focus on the financial markets of the United States,

China, and Taiwan. His career is built on a foundation of international

leadership at KPMG, where he served as an Audit Manager in Taiwan and a

Supervising Senior in Philadelphia before joining Simon & Edward LLP.

During his time in the United States, Mr. Chen managed audit engagements for

medium-to-large public companies within the Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing,

and Consumer Industrial sectors. His U.S. experience includes conducting

financial statement audits under PCAOB requirements and performing extensive

SOX 404 internal control testing. This cross-border background allows him to

effectively bridge the gap between international operations and U.S. regulatory

standards.

Mr. Chen advises multinational corporations on complex accounting and

reporting issues, with a focus on cross-border operations in China, Taiwan, and

Singapore. He guides clients through the intricacies of Capital Markets,

providing essential support for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), registration

statements, and reverse mergers. His expertise includes preparing companies

for the transition to public reporting standards through audit readiness and

offering technical consulting on complex accounting matters such as

debt/equity instruments and stock-based compensation. Additionally, he works

closely with management to enhance internal accounting systems and ensure

the efficient, effective completion of audits in compliance with SEC reporting

requirements.
